Hi.
My wife of nearly seven years left me about six weeks ago.
That isn't the way you usually start a Blog, but it's the way I'm going to, just for background.
After nearly six weeks of sitting on a couch watching endless films and TV shows on Netflix, just to distract myself from the depression, loneliness, boredom and self-torturing questions I asked myself about why/how my Marriage fell apart, I decided to do something.
This.
I'd like to introduce you to two special people in my life.
(yes, I did say people)
This is Piper.
Piper is just over 5 years old, and is the sister of Prue, who you'll meet in a minute. Piper's interests are Eating, Sleeping, Play-fighting, Paper-Ball-Paw-VolleyBall, (she invented it, don't judge), Tap-Licking, Sleep Disturbance, Occasional Cuddling, and Biting. (she likes that one a lot).
Also, DREAMIES. (the treats, not the thing she does when she kicks her legs out occasionally when she's snoozing)
She hopes one day to rule the world and be it's Queen.
This, ladies and gentlemen, is Prue. (short for Prudence, but she doesn't like her full name)
Prue is also 5, but she's a bit special.
She is very very laid back, and was the runt of the litter, so she's a bit smaller than her sister Piper.
Her interests are eating anything that's not usually edible, (including plastic and yarn and cardboard and anything else really). She likes also to sleep. She likes to flop over almost anywhere, and usually lies on her back with her front paws tucked in. She especially likes her belly to be tickled, and under her chin.
One day Prue hopes to become a real human baby. She is fascinated by EVERYTHING. IN THE WORLD.
Prue & Piper have both known me since they were six weeks old, (I know, you should feel sorry for them!) and they have lived with me all that time. There's a bond between us, they are both very timid around people, but are very noisy around me. They still 'chirp' like kittens do, and talk to me all the time. So, there's the introduction to my people.
I am their Dad.
I work part-time in a Supermarket, and at this point in my life don't have much to say, so I talk about them constantly.
Until next time...
